# Complete your Kova onboarding wizard

> Walk through the six-step Kova onboarding wizard for first-time members: welcome, identity confirmation, terms acceptance, retailer selection, first profile creation, and dashboard landing.

When you sign in to Kova for the first time, the onboarding wizard guides you through the setup required to start using the platform. The six steps collect your preferences, confirm your identity, and prepare your account for drops and order tracking.

    You are greeted with a welcome screen that introduces the portal and what to expect during setup.

  <Step title="Confirm your Discord identity">
    Verify the Discord identity used for your account so Kova links the correct user profile.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Accept Terms of Service and Privacy Policy">
    Read and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select your retailers">
    Choose at least one retailer from the available options. The first retailer you select becomes your default retailer, though you can change this later.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create your first profile (optional)">
    You can create your first profile now to speed up checkout preparation, or skip this step and return to it later from the dashboard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Continue to the dashboard">
    Once setup is complete, you are taken to your member dashboard to begin using Kova.

  Your progress and selections are saved automatically, so an interrupted setup can be resumed later without starting over.
